A WORD TO MANY SO-CALLED REVIVALISTS

A WORD TO MANY SO-CALLED REVIVALISTS

There is a recalibration coming to revival circles - God is calling many conference speakers to repent of much of their futile work in the name of God and to recalibrate and reconsider what they do because they do not have attached soul winning to what they are about, therefore they are in danger of losing their influence and it might be given to someone else.

Their expression of revival is not authentic, they are merely providing a fresh touch for people - again, and again, and again and again... “a fresh touch” for people who are already complete in Christ anyways who don’t necessarily need another touch through you.

The purpose of revival is to raise up a company that is securely established in who they are in Christ, sent out to the harvest fields who is increasingly successful in healing the sick, casting out demons and leading sinners into the arms of the Father. This is last days and this is end time harvest. To revive means to return to life, therefore a revivalist is dedicated to awaken the spiritual lives of others.

That’s why soul winners are and will be leading this coming move of God, because they have an anointing that doesn’t stem from theory, but from practical ministry.

God is putting them at the forefront in the spirit realm, because a pioneer is not a pioneer if he doesn’t lead people to Christ. This is not about who is who in the Christian zoo, but it is about priority.

Many conference speakers need to get out of the pulpit, you may feel this i a bit harsh but I wish they wouldn’t have a ministry, at least not to that measure. Am I being controversial? Maybe, but it certainly isn’t the objective. I simply don’t fit into the current mold and I won’t drop the torch.

Modern “Revivalist” - your first problem was, that you tried to be a conference speaker, instead of first being a soul winner. Herein lies your first problem because you haven’t done your homework on what Revival is.

You have attempted to proclaim the gospel without having blood on your sword, the realm of theory is not enough for the day that we live in.

Everybody who ministers from a pulpit needs to be able to function in his personal anointing first, not just in a ministry gift.

Furthermore, everybody who speaks at conferences where Christians gather, should be a soul winner in one way or another. Otherwise it is just a waste of time. Time that we do not have.

God measures success differently than we do. Do you hand water to the thirsty? Do you Love the hurting? Are you confessing Him before unbelieving men?

The day where you impressed people with your eloquent speech is over. God is raising up a grass-roots movement - and no - I do not have clarity on what that will look like.

You don’t need a microphone to be part of it (besides - you get a good preaching voice when you learn to preach without a mic by the way). But you have to win souls.

There are people now proclaiming the gospel who have no blood on their sword, they are untested and live in the realm of theory but they can gather people with human charisma and motivational speaking. But it won’t do the job for the times and Zeitgeist we are about to face.

So, instead of dreaming about speaking at big conferences, dream about leading many people to Jesus and conferences here and there will come - and then it will be part of the package thats fine, but not your main goal.

Every conference speaker should be a soul winner in one way or another.

We have too many conference speakers who are not reaching people for Jesus at all, they are christian entertainers, they shouldn’t be speaking at conferences at all if they can’t impart a grace that was developed in any sort of practical hands-on ministry.

I think being invited to minister at conferences can or should be a God-promotion, but in a day where everybody is trying to do something its sometimes hard to tell the difference.

Ephesians 5:15-16
See then that you walk circumspectly, not as fools but as wise, redeeming the time, because the days are evil.

Jude 1:22-23
And on some have compassion, making a distinction; but others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire, hating even the garment defiled by the flesh.
