HIS REWARD IS GREAT
HIS REWARD IS GREAT
I heard people mention recently the passing of a certain christian individual from Berlin, his name was Peter. I have never met him, but I was deeply touched by him walking around in Berlin for years carrying a case that said „Ask me about Jesus“ and giving people an opportunity to get to know God
This morning as I was praying I heard it in the Spirit “His reward is great“ and I began to thank God for his life, I even sent my dad an email and he told me, many years ago a man on the street blessed him and a day later he gave his life to Jesus
I´m not going to say now “let us be faithful in the little..“ Because how most Christians view those principles is as if they were jumping boards to “one day do something great for God“; and while it is true that God rewards faithfulness and entrusts us with more here on earth, it is equally true that what Peter did was not a small thing at all, he made himself available regularly for people to meet Jesus, that should at least convict all of us to live life with eternity in mind.. motives matter a lot. Being faithful with what we have been given is not a season or something, it is a lifestyle - and one day, we will have to give an account
Perspective matters a lot too, that sign in my room that says, “Oh God, stamp eternity on my eyeballs!“ was the anointed utterance from Jonathan Edwards and those words still ring true today..
Please stop for someone when God gives you a nudge to witness.. please do it..
I remember years ago reading a book by Kenneth Hagin where Jesus appeared to him in a vision, showing him a beautiful crown and said to him, “This is a soul winners crown. My people are so careless and indifferent. This crown is for everyone of My children. I speak and say “Go speak to this one or pray for that one”, but my people are too busy. They put it off, and souls are lost because they won’t obey me.”
Let’s obey God in those last days and be inspired by people like Peter, who indeed is a great hero and will have his reward in heaven
