WHATEVER HAPPENED TO THE PRIORITY OF... GOING INTO ALL THE WORLD
Everybody talks about revival in America and in Europe… which is a good thing, for me it was never the one or the other... I’m 31 years old and preached on all continents in over 50 nations... as a prophetic revivalist and healing evangelist... you can even fall so in love with being a conference speaker that you think this is the great commission... it’s not.
The problem begins when it gets out of balance... I hear less and less people sounding the alarm for unreached people groups.. some even have the audacity to say “we don’t need to send people anymore, now that we have the internet..” what a nonsense, straight from hell. Others dont pay any attention to missionaries living somewhere in the remotest parts of the world, they don’t even pray for them. The missions budget of some churches is a joke. They think everything revolves around their little building. I wanna say this respectfully, I know that it can be hard for a lot of pastors to even make a living. There are also many churches who have a huge heart for missions.
Still, there is a lot selfishness in western Christianity.
We still must GO and we still must SEND
If you would hear from some of our pastors of the churches we planted or support, you would be surprised by how different their entire way of life is… we are so privileged, I tell you.
We need voices that remind us that we need to get the job done... church, this is why we are here
I remember well the vision Oral Roberts was given by God shortly before he went home to be with the Lord. God said to that great apostle of the faith basically, what the church had done in regards to the great commission is a drop in the bucket. “I told my people to go into ALL THE WORLD”, He said.
I saw that shortly after I got saved... I thank God for that.
I knew what my life would be about...
“During the night Paul had a vision of a man of Macedonia standing and begging him, “Come over to Macedonia and help us.” After Paul had seen the vision, we got ready at once to leave for Macedonia, concluding that God had called us to preach the gospel to them.”
